Terms of Use for PulsePass
These Terms of Use are a working draft for PulsePass and related services operated by thePulse Inc. They are provided as placeholder public-facing terms until a final version is reviewed by legal counsel. By accessing or using PulsePass, thePulse.net, or any connected application that uses PulsePass for sign-in, you agree to these terms.
1. Services Covered
PulsePass is used to provide single sign-on, account management, organization membership, and identity services for sites and applications owned by thePulse Inc. PulsePass may also be used as an identity provider for selected third-party sites or applications that we approve.
2. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your information reasonably up to date, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Organizations and Authorized Use
Some PulsePass features are provided on behalf of an organization, company, or client account. If you access PulsePass through an organization, your access may be limited by that organization's assigned roles, permissions, and administrators. We may rely on those permissions when determining what data or features you can access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PulsePass or related services to:
- violate any law or regulation;
- attempt unauthorized access to any account, organization, site, or system;
- interfere with the availability, security, or performance of the service;
- submit malicious code, automated abuse, spam, or fraudulent content; or
- use the service in a way that infringes the rights of thePulse Inc. or others.
5. Single Sign-On and Third-Party Applications
When you use PulsePass to sign in to a site or application, we may share limited account, profile, security, and organization-related information with that relying application as needed to authenticate you and provide the requested service. Your use of any third-party application is also subject to that application's own terms and privacy practices.
6. Availability and Changes
We may update, improve, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of PulsePass or related services at any time. We may also update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the services after updated terms are posted will be treated as acceptance of the revised terms.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, PulsePass and related services, including their software, branding, and content, are owned by thePulse Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any account or organization if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, if access poses a security risk, or if doing so is necessary to protect our services, customers, or business operations.
9. Disclaimer
PulsePass and related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, thePulse Inc. disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, thePulse Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, business opportunity, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of PulsePass or related services.
